in partnership with canadian energy executive association
We are grateful to the support of Canadian Energy Executive Association (CEEA) who have chosen to include us in their fundraising efforts through their partnership with Shaw Classic Birdies for Kids. Over the last three years, CEEA and its members have directly contributed more than $450,000 to Calgary charities. Unfortunately, CEEA Events have been postponed due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions. The CEEA remains committed to fundraising efforts and has organized a Virtual Charity Silent Auction that is being held on June 18, 2020.
about our child and youth education & safety programs
School and community based education and safety programs for children and youth, caregivers, and school or community members.
"WHO DO YOU TELL"
Child Education and Safety Program ?”™ is a research-based child sexual abuse education and safety program for elementary school aged children, their parents, and teachers. The program provides children with the skills and knowledge needed to recognize abuse, promote healthy relationships, learn about body autonomy, and empowers children to access support from trusted adults. The program uses age-appropriate content and materials to deliver the program’s key messages. The key messages are children have the right to say “no”, it is never a child’s fault when abuse occurs, and children can tell an adult they trust.
Birch Grove Youth Education is a sexual violence education program for youth addressing the root cause and planting seeds of change. Often referred to as leaders of tomorrow, we know youth to be, in fact, leaders of today. Our program recognizes the unique contribution of each youth as well as their resilience and strength as they navigate their world. With each session, the program draws on this resilience, equips them with tools to be compassionate with themselves and each other, and encourages them to grow in new ways, by challenging harmful attitudes, beliefs and behavior.
